Abstract
Two roundtable sessions are dedicated to present the shapes of current research in world and global history and to discuss questions and topics that will be relevant in the times to come. Furthermore, we will address practical needs of research cooperation in the field, especially new forms of infrastructure needed to link the growing and yet often separate communities of scholars who aim at transcending single and demarcated units of historical analysis. During the General Assembly of NOGWHISTO the second edition of the “Bibliography of Global History” will be introduced which reviews world history publications of the last five years in different parts of the world.
